Martha Stewart TV Show Recognition

Founder Patricia Fragen was featured on Martha Stewart for her work with Normal Moments:

“It has been an amazing experience to take my daughter’s desire to leave a positive legacy after her death and make it such a powerful expression of who she was in life. The incredible energy and strength of both the parents we serve and their children force everyone involved to realign their perspectives on life to make more of every day.

I have been incredibly lucky in many ways. First of all, I have collected an amazing network of “cool humans” with whom I share a mutually supportive and loving relationship. I also happen to be a business consultant to entrepreneurs, teaching small and mid-sized business owners all about the aspects of business of which they are unfamiliar, such as determining corporate structure (or even if incorporating is needed), accounting, human resource management, web development, marketing and branding, and so much more (you can see more details on my website at www.strategicofficesolutions.net). This background gave me the ability to single-handedly get through all the fundaments of incorporating, obtaining 501(c)(3) status, knowing what and how much insurance I needed, etc. so that Normal Moments could ramp up significantly more quickly than many public not-for-profits. It also allowed me to tap into this network of wonderful people to build a board of individuals who compliment my knowledge and skills so that I can hand projects off and feel confident that responsible party is able to do the job faster and better than I could on my own.

So, the bottom line recommendation I’ll make to all those dreamers out there who want to be DOERS, whether not-for-profit or to get rich, be willing to acknowledge what you don’t know as much as what you do know and network to find people with skills that augment yours. Hopefully you can find such folks amongst your friends or make them your friends so that you can ask simple questions over a glass of wine instead of always needing a formal consultation. 

Thank you all for your wonderful support and interest in Normal Moments! “
