THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO SUPPORT NORMAL MOMENTS THROUGH VOLUNTEERISM:
Become a DAVID…
You don’t need to love EVERY task that our Davids do because not every family needs every service, and one family can have more than one David to help fill their needs. If you like animals, housekeeping, gardening/landscaping, or just that great satisfaction that truly serving someone in need, fill out the DAVID VOLUNTEER FORM.
Become a Serivce Provider...
If you own a Service Business and can offer us free or reduced rate service, please send an EMAIL with your business name, industry, and service offer. We will contact you shortly. All service providers are recognized on our website and at Normal Moments events.
Become an I-Beam…
Have you been through it before and survived? You can be that special person who helps another parent survive the worst moments. Become a telephone and/or hospital support person for other parents who are facing the struggles that go along with a child undergoing treatment for a critical illness. Please fill out the I-BEAM VOLUNTEER FORM, and we will contact you to further discuss the role of an I-Beam and to schedule training.
Help Raise Funds…
Send out letters to your friends, business contacts, family, etc. asking for their support for Normal Moments. We can provide you with informational materials and recommended content for your letters. Just send us an email letting us know how many letters you plan to send, and we’ll send you an email plus forward the requested number of enclosures.
Throw a fund-raising party of your own...
Set a fund-raising goal for yourself, figure out how many people you think would attend your event, and figure out how much of a donation you need from each. Whether you throw a casual open-house or a fancy sit-down dinner, provide the whole spread or make it pot-luck, the fun of gathering with friends and family will be that much more improved knowing that the funds you raise will provide much needed assistance to others.
Work an Event…
We are always looking for people to share their talents planning, organizing, working, and attending events. Have an idea for an event you’d like to offer or manage? Just want to know when we need help with an up-coming event? Send us an email and we’ll be in touch!
