Patricia Fragen, President As well as founding Normal Moments to honor her daughter Melissa, Tricia is the owner of Strategic Office Solutions, a small business consulting firm. She brings business management and accounting skills to the organization along with a first-hand knowledge of the challenges handled on a daily basis by a parent/parents dealing with their child’s long-term illness. Tricia is the I-Beam trainer.
	David Orlicz, Vice President David is the goal for all our volunteers; to be able to step in to a family’s life during a time of great stress and do what it takes to simplify their lives. While not petsitting or helping in other ways, David is a music teacher and performer. David is our volunteer trainer (of course).
	Sheryl Diller, Treasurer Very familiar with the experience of sitting by one’s child’s side in the hospital, Sheryl was happy to sign on as Treasurer of Normal Moments. She is a certified Tax Advisor and her strength and determination are a big part of our success.
	Meaghan Tait, Secretary Siblings’ lives are touched by the stresses of childhood illnesses as much as parents’. Meaghan can attest to the benefits for the whole family when any stress can be relieved. When parents have fewer day-to-day concerns, they can focus more attention on their well children as well as their ill one. As well as being the Corporate Coodinator for Normal Moments, Meaghan is an avid volunteer and supporter for Misericordia.
	Sherri Arrigo, Board Member Sherri is about as ideal a board member as we could request, bring medical and legal knowledge to the table. She is currently a practicing attorney with a specialty in medical malpractice defense, a second career after one in nursing. We are grateful for the wealth of knowledge, skill, and compassion she offers Normal Moments and its community.
Joy	Christina Ordonez, Board Member As a high school English teacher, Christina has seen how great of an impact one person can make just by being a support system for others. Besides teaching, Christina stays busy producing multiple theatrical productions each school year. She also is the technology coach for her department, a skill she is able to bring to Normal Moments as well.
Balance	Mark Ordonez, Board Member Mark understands how quickly life can change when a family member is ill. He is excited to be a part of an organization that can help so many families just by taking care of all of the little things. He is honored to contribute his wide range of abilities to Normal Moments. When not working with the organization, he works in Educational Technology in District 207.
	Brian Tait, Board Member Brian is a technical guru, an interest he shared with Melissa. He was a strong male role model in her life along with being a frequent visitor to the hospital. (Tricia says thanks for the sushi nights.) He shares responsibility for our web development. Brian’s day job is as a Manager of Software Development for Allscripts, a healthcare information solutions company.
Perfection	Melissa Fragen, Honorary Board Member Melissa planned to become a pediatric oncologist from the age of 8 and was diagnosed with cancer at 15. She died before her 17th birthday after helping found Normal Moments "because everyone deserves a David". Melissa devoted herself to giving throughout her life and touched all who knew her and is the impetus for the organization. As her friend, Laura, wrote, "Melissa is one of those people you usually just get to read about in books. I was honored to know her."
